A long week has passed since the trip to italy. The trip has been awesome, even though i had plenty of homework piled on top for me once i came back to school, i've never regretted on the trip once. Despite Ms Lim's black faces to the girls on almost all the practices there (seriously, i think she's zhong nan qing nu la) , the enormous amount of focus and concentration we are needed to sing well no matter how tired we are (and we were most of the time), but all the hard work paid off and we finally achieved the national dream. Nj choir has never achieved a gold for overseas performances, but this time, we got a gold, a distinction for the set piece, and being second overall for the competition. We were also the first asians to participate in the competition and we set a standard for them. Gelato and the pasta was the best in italy! i tried like 10 flavours in total by taking a bite out of my friends' gelato of couse, but i bet there are actually 100 over flavours awaiting to be tasted there. Shopping was fun too, even if i have always hated shopping, but there was not really a lot of things to but there and they are all overpriced anyway. Bleh. Then there was clubbing. Trudy and i bought this fake squeezable club for like only 2 euros and we started going about the whole hotel at night to club every person we see. Super fun! So we counted and we managed to club all the guys on the trip but we were merciful towards the girls for some unknown reason. Lol. Yepp, then there was this pigeon incident which was like one of the most weirdest things that had ever happened to me.
Now that i'm backk to reality, i should just stop thinking about the trip so much. Bleh xP. Still got a 1000 word essay on capitalism and communism coming up. 1 more week to assessment.
